Te Kara

Promoting the Sovereign

The Flag of the United Tribes of Nu Tireni (New Zealand), is a deeply significant symbol in New Zealand’s history, representing Māori sovereignty, early interactions with the British Crown, and the assertion of indigenous authority. It represents the enduring He Wakaputanga o te Rangatiratanga o Nu Tireni 1835 - the Declaration of Independence, inviting all people (tribes) to join the jurisdiction of the Confederation of United tribes.

Promote The Sovereign That is the goal!

The Sovereign is He Wakaputanga o te Rangatiratanga. Why? Because that is the Trust setup between the Aboriginal Natives and King William IV, which we continue to build on today. This Declaration of Independence invites ALL other tribes to join, meaning any free person can join this jurisdiction and actively participate in the kaupapa – with Tika, Pono and Aroha. This information may have been majorly suppressed until the past few years, but now the knowledge and power is becoming more and more harder to ignore. So let’s learn more about it together, and how we can use it in our everyday lives – and promote the freedom it entails by wearing Te Kara – The Colour of The Sovereign – He Wakaputanga!
